At the end of January 2017 Symantec will stop using timestamp-service SHA1 RFC 3161. Signing of Java-based applications will be carried out using SHA256 code signing certificate with a timestamp, set by SHA256 RFC service from Symantec.

On a Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2016 an emergency has occurred. Customers of Barclays Bank, which were users of mobile banking application, were unable to perform any transactions due to pinning the outdated intermediate certificate in the application. Barclays has immediately appealed to Symantec who was a certificate issuer with a request for a new certificate for * .payliquid.com, tied to the old intermediate CA.

On Tuesday, 1st November an Eastern European delegation of IT & Cyber specialists visited The Hague as part of five-day trade mission to the Netherlands organized by cybersecurity company LeaderTelecom.

LeaderTelecom has visited Cybersecurity Matchmaking Event 2016, which took place on October 14 in Zuiderstrandtheater in The Hague. It was a part of the Dutch government campaign named Alert Online 2016, which aimed at expanding knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.
