LeaderTelecom visited the «Security Breach!»

LeaderTelecom visited the event «Security Breach!», which was held on 1 February in Axisparc business centre located in the small Belgian town Louvain-la-Neuve (30 km south of Brussels).

Aleksei Ivanov, CEO of LeaderTelecom, spoke at the conference «Security Breach!» with a presentation on the revolutionary changes in the SSL-industry in 2017. The presentation covered such important issues as avoiding the use of SHA-1 in favour of SHA-2, changes in the displaying of HTTP-sites in popular browsers, advantages and disadvantages of Let's Encrypt, as well as the impact of SSL on SEO.

Xavier Mertens, a consultant in the field of cyber security, gave the presentation “Developers are from Mars, Security Guys are from Venus”, which told about the current threats facing the web developers, and about the possible improvement of IT-infrastructure.

David Frenay, CEO of Emolytics, made a presentation on the various methods of attacks and hacking sites, as well as ways to prevent them.

Christophe Avonture, a developer from aeSecure, shared with attendees the methods and tools for detection of infected files on the PHP-site.
