Apple, one of the world’s most recognisable brands, recently announced that developers creating applications for iOS, should as soon as possible move their applications to HTTPS.

According to a recent announcement, Baidu is keen to protect users against new and emerging online threats, so that, now, the sites that have switched to the HTTPS protocol are ranked higher in search results. Trusted and reputable sites will take the top positions in Baidu search results.
